2 medium onions- finely chopped
1 ½ t salt
1 ½ t pepper
1 ½ pounds 3G ground beef
¾ C beef stock
5 slices day old bread- finely chopped
½ C chopped mint, parsley, oregano
1 egg beaten
1 clove garlic mashed
All purpose flour and oil for frying
- Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Use your hands to get it all well incorporated. Shape into small meatballs.
- If frying, roll gently into flour – just enough to lightly coat. Cook in approx. 1 inch of hot oil until brown OR Broil under broiler until golden brown (no flour or oil needed).
